The King Of Swing Team
The King of Swing Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and support established children’s charities in Texas in enriching the human experience of children with life-threatening illnesses. All profits realized from events associated with The Christopher James Newton Memorial Weekend are donated to the Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana Chapter of Make-A-Wish based here in Houston. Over the past nineteen years, this small grass-roots charity has donated $333,000 to Make-A-Wish.

A decade later friends, classmates, families, neighbors, and strangers–many from out-of-state–continue to gather the first weekend in June to celebrate the joy of friendship, service and shared memories.
